I grew up in a household where giving back to the community was a way of life. As such, assuming the role of Treasurer for Community Interfaith honors my parents and my upbringing in the church. One of the things that brings my family great joy is sponsoring three beautiful Kenyan girls at one of eight orphanages sponsored by Chariots for Hope. I enjoy traveling to Kenya to teach STEAM activities to these amazing children.
Teaching is my second career. I retired from Owen J. Roberts School District after 2 decades. I went on to teach at the University of Valley Forge until last year. My first career was working as a petroleum and natural gas engineer down south, again, for two decades. I’ve been blessed to be a part of two such diverse professions.
Besides teaching and working with youth groups, I enjoy singing with the Valley Forge Chorale, gardening, and biking. I especially love spending time with my family.
I’m excited to see what God has planned for Community Interfaith. We continue to expand and grow; we are so blessed to assist our neighbors with food, clothing, conversation, and prayer.
